Replacement of the hydroboost unit fairly easy. You can leave the master cylinder intact and in place. The hard part that I found was that clip thing that keeps the brake switch on under the dash. I got a new one of those as well because it didn't survive. Somewhere on the net and here, there is removal instructions for that clip. Hope you have better luck on that than I. Its just in awkward place for someone with bad back. It took a few turns of wheel turning stop to stop to bleed out power steering. I did replace pump as well though as I figured it was gonna let go if I did'nt change it during engine swap.
