Are the heads 062s or 906s? Do they have Canada or Mexico cast into them? As long as they check out ok without cracks the Canadian heads especially 906s flow alot better than the Mexican 062s do.

This is after cutting the valve seats on the 906, correct?

It's a mexico made block with Mexico 906 heads. Now the 400 is a Canadian block. I have a question about this. Will the summit k1103 cam survive the valve springs? I mean since roller has more seat pressure.

Huh? Going to ditch the roller cam set-up to install a flat tappet?

The Vortec springs have very light spring pressure. I can open the valves with my bare hand on one. Like 80# at the seat and a weak 256 lb/in rate. The uber basic aftermarket "Z/28" spring is 90-110 # at the seat and around 320-340 lb/in depending on who you talk with.
