98 suburban 2500 needs fuel pump were to buy

Where's the best place to buy a fuel pump for my 98 suburban 2500. Left me stranded at the gas station after putting in a half of a tank. Any help would be appreciated!

This probably isn't the answer you're looking for, but, as much trouble as the units are to change out, and the often damaged fuel guage sender, I'd recommend a GM replacement assembly. It'll last a long time.
Replacement aftermarket pump motors are rife with trouble.
IMHO.

I replaced the fuel pump in my 99 Burb with the Big Block 454 in 2018. Ordered a Delphi from Rock Auto and it is still running strong. They have the best price around!!

If you truck is a federal or California
Type in your vin and you will get correct replacement part you can use to cross reference and use in rock auto
