Enjoying tomorrow's success today
I just use a few cans of WD-40. Not as messy and I do it every fall.
Damn, that's a good idea lol. I live in town, so I can't do it.

That prevents you from using WD-40?
On a separate note, it appears that my oil pressure sender is acting up. I noticed it seemed to run a higher psi than normal, but while making the video I realized it would jump around when sitting still and revving up, not really corresponding with RPM.
So for sake of saving money, I am considering painting the rims black, and leaving the chrome center caps and trim rings on. I've always been drawn to black rims, and this way I can have a custom look for the price of a can of spray paint. I was originally thinking of using my Turbines, but I didn't realize this truck would have a FF rear and not a SF, so the spacers/adapters wouldn't work.
My 94 k2500 plow truck also had a FF but only had a 350, so not sure what designates between the two.Far as I know, all big block trucks got FF rears. My brother had a 3500 work truck with a SF, it had a 350 lol.
I actually want a set of steel wheels for Pigpen also, I'm going to have them coated yellow.
