No I don't know the casting number, and I'm sure a lot of them are 4 bolt's though, also I have only dealt with them from 1/2 ton 2wd model's.

Yea, i just "heard" they are all 4-bolts. doesn't surprise me that there are 2-bolts out there.

And now that i think about it, casting number wouldn't matter, i have 2 638 blocks, one is a 2-bolt and ones 4-bolt.

ya i couldnt find a color to match my truck other than a dodge green. what type of valve covers should i get tall, baffeled, stock? and i put some oil in the intake vally, im having a hard time with the oil cooler lines, oil pan cleaning.
