I know the steering wheel is the same from 95 to 97 and changed in 98. otherwise not sure if its just the wiring that changed. 95 columns are more than likely still the oddball when it comes to wiring.

I swear I used a '95 column in a '96, but it was enough years ago that I'm starting to doubt that memory.

In '98 you had Passlock come into play so the column housing and tumbler are a little bit different, wiring will be a little different - it may not be a show-stopper, though. On airbag models the wheel did change; dunno if the wiring did.

I had a manual trans w/cruise column in both my 3500HD's, the '95, and the '94 that I rebuilt with a combination of '96-'98 interior. Can't remember if the column for that truck came from the '96 C3500 donor truck or the '98 C2500 donor, both were NV4500 trucks, just not sure which one had cruise. Both were pretty stripped trucks option-wise. Oops, just looked at the project pics and can clearly see the cruise servo on the '96 firewall, so that's it.

Last stick column I saw with tilt & cruise was in a really nice fully loaded 2 dr. Yukon!
Yea! All that & a stick! Cool ride!
Truck was damn near perfect with a dead engine. Nice interior. Had obviously been taken care off.
Only had a small tool kit with me at the time. Went back 2 days later & it had been butchered! Busted plastics, broken sig lever, no wheel, electrics torn out!
Damn pick-n-pulls!
Looking back, I should of at least grabbed the sensors off of the pedals.

My idea is push button control of the auto. So losing this column shift arm. Plenty of options out there to do it its finding the bits to delete that arm.

Do you know if a 03 suburban 1500 colum will fit in a 89 c2500? Doing a ls swap and would like to have use the colum shift, keep the tow hall button and tilt will as well.. I can cut and weld the end to fit.. but the mounting stuff is my concern
