I'm Awesome
What's up everyone. Without getting into too much detail, I'm looking into designing a steering knuckle for 4WD, 1500 series trucks, and I was curious if anyone had knowledge with the interchangeability of wheel bearings from 88-94 / 95-98 / NBS 99+ trucks.
I am aware the ABS sensors are different in these trucks, but that isn't a concern for this project. From my search on rock auto for these trucks, the main bearing body diameter and 3 bolt patters appear to be the same... info below.
88-94:
95-98:
99+ GMT800:
Is there something I'm missing that says these can't freely interchange? Flange offset and diameter is a touch different but I always take these measurements with a grain of salt (evidenced by the wrong bolt pattern size for the GMT800 spec). Thanks!
