Where is the differential pressure switch on these models? That’s one thing that can trip the brake warning light, usually signifying a leak and isolating half of the circuit from the master cylinder.

That or the parking brake is on or it’s contacts are messed up.

Is there a code number being shown? I didn’t think that a proportioning valve would be monitored by anything.

I haven’t fully finished my homework on it yet but first glance I didn’t see a code for that part failure. I asked GM dealer if they could pull a code on the warning light and that’s what they came back with. I need to research it further. I thought it was all mechanical so the only thing that seems like it could fire a code would be this piece, but I need to dig deeper.
