'88 glass quad lamps: how important is the little plastic divider between the lamps?

Was merely going to post a want ad, but i guess I need to have 6 months and another 40 posts before I can place an ad. In the meantime, how important is the little plastic divider between the lamps on the '88/'89 glass quad headlights? My first wrecking yard set of lamp assemblies was short one. I found another, but tonight, in some dismay, I found that there are left and right pieces required. Of course I ended up with 2 LH's and now need to find a Right Hand. Fortunately, the plastic moldings are marked from GM. When the snow is gone, I'll be back in wrecking yards looking again. For now
