Kinda like my old 55 New Yorker. Get in to an accident and just hose off the dashboard.

Man, they're re-inventing the wrong wheel, here.

I just can't see the purpose of a steel dash, that looks like the stock dash, when LMC sells replacement full dashes, or your local salvage yard has one.

Can't see the benefit, you're losing oem vents, dash appearance, adding weight, etc.

The price tag is the nail in the coffin.

id rather it be angular if that meant getting rid of these crappy plastic ones, i just want to retain the stock cluster, and controls area and airbag, it could be fitted with an aftermarket AC system to finally upgrade the crappy blower fan of the gmt400

I think a lot of that is, many have worn out parts. When they were new, those systems worked fine. My truck only has 80k, so everything works great. I can’t leave the AC on high for too long, it literally gets too cold. It is a regular cab though.

Getting cold isnt really a problem, its the volume of airflow thats just subpar for a texas summer
