Hey I have a 1997 K1500, rear blew and I picked up a matching ratio 14 bolt SF but it's an 8 lugger.

My question is what are my options for converting the rear to 6 lug or the front to 8 lug.

Do they make an 8 lug spindle for these year 1500s?
What would be involved in switching the 8 lug rear to 6 lug? (Can I just get axles from a 14b SF 6 lug out of a 1500)?

you can get a 14SF om 6 lug. That is what mine has. It is considered the F44 option. Even came with an extra leaf.

Nobody makes an aftermarket wheel hub that is 8 lug but has the same spline?

I'm just going with a lug converter on the rear then. It will even out the stance anyway?
