6.6 LML Duramax Swap

Well the truck I actually want is this "Frankenstein" as you call it. Also I'm not expecting the 2012 suspension to bolt on. I'm a fabricater I could make custom brakets for the suspension components to mount onto. I'm not afraid of fabrication, I've put a Toyota mr2 drivetrain into the back end of a ford festiva before

It may almost be easier to take a 2011+ 2500hd or 3500hd chassis and put my 95 body on it?

I would say sell the 95 1/2 Ton and buy a gmt400 3/4 ton or 1 ton and put the dmax in that.

I would image the body swap to not be that hard. But back to the original question, the Duramax and T56 will fit in there fine without a body lift I'm sure. There did do 454s in this body and that's way bigger than the Duramax, 7.4l vs 6.6
