4l60 vs 4l60e fuel economy?

Looking at a 92 suburban. Just curious if I should hold out for a 93 or newer. Curious how much fuel difference and the benefits of the transmission being electronically controlled.

I mean, it's a 30 year old suburban. If fuel mileage is a primary concern, maybe this ain't your best choice....
Both a 92 and 93 were rated at 13/17 so GM didn't see a change with electronic control.

I wouldn't expect enough difference in fuel economy to be measurable without enormously-expensive equipment...and maybe not even then.
