I'm thinking some Dick Cepek DC-2 15x8, 3.625 backspacing. That's roughly 4.4" in front of the hub, versus the 6" if it was a 15x10.

33's you should pull off with almost any wheel, since you'll have a body lift. I got 285's on mine stock just cranked up and on stockers.

35's you may still push it with the 8's. I would try for 8's with the 4-4.5 bs or so. They may clear fine with the 15x8's you want if you can crank up more and then do a body lift. may not even need to crank it's just a crap shoot.

Alright.. so it looks like I have two choices. I truely can only spend $925 at most right now with my current budget.

Option one: 3" Body lift, 33x12.5 on 15x10 with 4" backspacing. - Sell my current tires for $900 and throw in $771 for the rest
Option two: 6" RCX and no new tires. - I can get the lift for $925, only like 150 more than option one.

I have someone that wants my current tires for $900(285/75 bridgestone dualers REVO 2's), and they're like brand new. It may be possible to find some used 35s mounted on wagon wheels for around that price(hopefully decent tread on them). So I might be able to do the 6" RCX and trade my current brand new tires for used 35s on wagon wheels.

If I got the body lift and 33s, I'd have to just buy brand new 35s when I get the 6" lift.. I think if I do the 6" now, and trade my tires for used 35s or just keep em on there for now.. I can get some brand new 35s and a body lift in about 4-5 months.

What would you guys do?

I think it will cost more in the long run if you buy 33's now when you actually want 35's

id say buy the 6in RCX, set the front at 4in and leave out the aal. then leave your rims & tires on it until you can afford tires, rims & gears!

why ditch 33's and buy 33's?

no question IMO.

buy the rcx now and run what ya got. wait until you get bigger tires, you can leave it cranked down and leave out the AAl if you want.

honestly I'd get 35's and do a body lift but run some 8's and crank.

it's your truck man and you aint gonna be happy until you get EXACTLY what YOU want.

So I say go for it, buy the rcx, then buy your 15x10's, then tires, then body lift if you want on top of it?

Yeah it makes most sense that in order to get to my goal of 6+3 on 35s.. I just need to start with the lift now, and BL+tires later. I'm gunna try to find some used 35s to trade my current tires for also. Anyone that has installed the RCX lift before: Do you really need the $75 torsion bar unloader, or is there a cheaper one I can use that does the same thing? Maybe rent one at autozone/O'reily?

you can use a 2 jaw puller or a c-clamp! just be VERY VERY careful!!! don't put hands/fingers, or any other body part where they can be hurt!

heard guys renting the ball joint press to do it with. it's a huge heavy duty c clamp.

I wouldn't do 35's on a 6+3 I'd go bigger for sure. That's me though.
