1998 'Holden' K1500

Hi all. Back in my introduction thread I was planning on fixing up a 94 Chevy K1500 that my dad had originally purchased for parts but came across a deal I couldn't pass up on a 98 GMC K1500. It isn't much to look at yet (has been old-man-ified) but it has had nearly the entire front and rear suspension rebuilt. Vortec 5.7L with 328k km's on it. It currently still sits in the PO's yard as I learn the intricacies of GM starters...

That and silver paint. He painted EVERYTHING under the hood silver. Going to be fun cleaning all that up...

He also had one of those fake scoops screwed into the hood, ugh. Thankfully I have a new hood and fenders to put on it, just need to paint them.

Right now I'm waiting on starter #3 to try and get this thing running. When I go to pick it up (again) I'll snap a picture. It is a real mess. All the plastics, valve covers, brackets, wiring, rad hoses, etc all painted silver. :(
