1998 GMC c1500 Fuel Tank

Hello Everyone,
I want to ask ya'll about draining fuel from the Fuel tank.
What is the easiest way to get that job done. I have watched different u-tube videos and wanted to hear ya'lls thoughts.

Not sure if it's the same process as I used on my 91 but here's how I did it. Disconnected the fuel line at the fuel filter on the frame. Connected a length of tubing and ran it to a jerry can. Here's where it may differ. Then ran 12v to the fuel pump "prong" on the OBD port under the dash.. obviously mine is OBD1, not sure if OBD2 has the same provision. Someone will chime in with that. But if it does, easiest way.
