Recent purchase. Just swapped in the factory GMC take-offs from a 2019 truck, and unf$&ed a Bubba lift and associated alignment issues. I have always wanted a 2 door 1500, but rust free examples are unobtanium/expensive in the rust belt, and rusty examples are an expensive time bomb. This truck came out of Utah via. an owner in Ohio who lost interest after it was stolen (owner installed a new 350 after the person who stole the vehicle blew the engine up... good for me). Front end was previously rebuilt with the last couple thousand miles, so that box has been checked. All the power options work and A/C was replaced with the new engine... except for the cruise control.
Next project is replacing the power steering hoses, along with fresh dash, lock tumbler and steering wheel. Need to ditch the aftermarket headlights/turn signals for stock as well.
