Beautiful restoration. Could I ask what paint color that is? That looks very close to what I am thinking of going with when I two tone the lower body and fender flares when I do mine.Truck is fully reassembled, took it on a trip yesterday first half went fantastic then the ride home turned into disaster the trans started leaking fluid looked like pan gasket was leaking so got some tools and tightened it down and made it about 40 miles and it was pouring fluid, found the governor cap was gone no idea what happened to it. I poured the fluid I had left in it and limped it a gas station and had a friend of mine come rescue it. Had another cap and put a new filter and gasket on the transmission and somehow it still has all 4 gears and reverse no idea how. I think the transmission overheated because torque converter lockup was acting up so I disconnected it and think I may have caused it. Either way it safely got us off the side of the highway.
Thank you and yes it’s actually it’s factory color the color code is 9086Beautiful restoration. Could I ask what paint color that is? That looks very close to what I am thinking of going with when I two tone the lower body and fender flares when I do mine.

Envy,envy,envy...Zseventy-one cv axles are super easy on these! The interior panels took some time to find but I managed it.And to answer both of your questions on the Buick it is a 1981 Indy Regal they made 150 cars for Indy and this is car #148 of the 150. I rescued it from a northern Va field. I also have a 1982 Grand National one of 215
I'd love to do this but in UK it would probably fail mot cause it'd be viewed as non working indicators. I gotta look into the regulations closer. Were they ever standard in any year of gmt400? As in working instaed of just blanks?4 corner mod for the win.
They were always blanks. These are fully functional with turn signal and hazards.I'd love to do this but in UK it would probably fail mot cause it'd be viewed as non working indicators.
