Do you have any better pictures of the shaved cabs seems? Ive been thinking of trying this

I don't have any pictures of the process sorry. For under the rear window I welded in sheet metal and then bondo. For the top corner I just filled the seams with evercoat metal2metal which has fine aluminum powder in it. I did this years ago but haven't driven the truck. I think it will hold up fine but if I ever have to redo it I will use lead.
