1990 Visor Brackets

Trying to install my sun visors and was looking for a photo of some already installed. When I installed mine the way I think they should go, they rotate around the pivot point (where the elbow goes into the mounting bracket) and fall down. Any help would be appreciated.

When you say fall down d9 you mean the whole arm abd sunshade fall down or the sunshade section flops down as of you were using it?

from what I remember the sunshade metal rod is pressed on the backside into the triangle mount bracket. Over the years from use they just get loose and eventually just don’t stay in one position.

I would go look for a set off a 1999/2000 suburban. If that doesn’t pan out a few places make reproduction pieces.
