1990 k1500 5.7l 4x4 problems

Hey I have a 1990 k1500 with 33x12.50x15 and 3.73 gears and a detroit truetrac in the rear when I put it into 4wd in the front acts like it wants to pull u out of the road and the steering is very stiff and this is on snow any idea what could be causing this

Pull off the road? What happens? It pulls to one side or what? 4 hi 4 Lo, what speeds? Need a little more information

4hi and it pulls to the right some and to the left not over 30 mph

It acts kinda like torque steer on a fwd its kinda hard to explain besides its hard to keep it perfectly straight

If my front end is out of line will it cause problems with my 4wd

It could.. It would definitely be more noticeable in 4wd, does it only do it then when you're under acceleration or just cruising around? I'm thinking that it could be the open diff in the front.. Since one tire gets the traction, the wheel starts to spin, and it pulls to that side.. Is it super drastic or not that bad?

Its bad I think my front in needs an alingment and we tryed it on a lil bit of dry pavement and it does the same thing
