I guess i want speed density because i have tuned the older lt1s with it. On the nhra stock eliminators they all have speed density And we was getting 560+hp with stock lift, no porting, stock throttle body and intake. O and stock stroke, rod length and piston design. That was in 2005 with a pcm set up that looks like DOS compared to what available now being windows 10. Was a accel pcm and harness i think
NHRA cars don't putt around town all day either. You can run a snorkel with your maf too. Running VE only won't magically get you more power.

And yes, the reason people have multiple tunes for summer and winter is because of the IAT and ECT correction. Not because of the "MAP". That doesn't even make sense.

I don't even know if it's IAT/ECT so much as just IAT. My ECT is the same summer as winter. Either way MAF is stupid easy to tune. MAF gets you measured airflow and MAP gets you calculated airflow. I too have the 93 speed density Camaro and yes, it lays down hero numbers compared to it's successors. But it doesn't do that because of the lack of MAF. I understand the 93 ECM was preferable back in the day because it was the easy to tune one, but times have changed. Even if you manage to max your MAF out, which I haven't even at a lower elevation, you can rescale it and gain all the headroom you need.

I'm talking about the IAT/ECT bias table inside the computer. That's the table the computer uses to calculate the exact charge temperate relative to the two values. The table adjusts the bias between the two values. It's hard to get exactly right, that's the reason people who run solely speed density in open loop have multiple tunes depending on the season.

Yeah I haven't gone after it myself either. I like that you can jot down notes and your changes are tracked in EFILive so you can go back 6 months later to compare.

Ok again not worried about hero numbers or all that if you read engines are basically stock. If i was tuning for power i wouldn't be using a tuner at all, i can make power and drivabilty with my old school stuff. So I'm gonna base all my tables off the 05 trailblazer and let yall know how it goes. Wont be in open loop all the time if it based of it.

You're basing a 350 tune off of an inline 6 or a 5.3? Good luck with that.

So ill post pic of what does the correction on factory one without maf. The correction factor for timing tables is what im refering to specifically.

So if you look up what speed density actually uses for main adjustments. Its using the manifold pressure to determine what it needs. As far as using a i6 basis thats not saying im using a i6 tune. Just gonna look how it uses the map in relation to fuel and spark.

You're talking about different generations of PCMs depending on the year. Apples and oranges.

I think you need to slow down here and go learn some more about tuning. You're gonna blow this engine up
