Well at least its a sedan an not a hatch back, that's a huge plus imo. Don't care for the huge cowl hood, it looks off. But with a car like that I'd rather have a stock hood an a more sleeper look.

Nice car, hope you don't disappear on us now....

The huge cowl is actually necessary with this particular setup, I've got about half inch between the front of the air cleaner and hood. But yes agreed on it being a notch I wouldn't own a hatch back, those things are ugly as sin lol

And I'm not goin anywhere mayne :deal:

What about one of them low pro air cleaners with the side mounted filters? If you wanted a stock hood that is, or a low pro "hat" with a CIA or short ram filter setup?

The problem isn't the air cleaner, it's the actual intake, it's a high rise, to fit anything close to a stock hood would take a full intake swap, but alas I dig it so it probably won't change other than paint, at which point I don't think it would stand out as bad since it'll be the same color as the car

I personally like a big cowl hood. It's also functional and will keep under hood temps down. Is it a hood pin or stock hinge setup?

Most 1970+ "muscle cars" were auto and not very fast. Like deans fox wasn't a very fast car before all the work was done. You'll get it there with the swap and whatnot. :waytogo:

The swap, regear, heads, cam and intake will make her scoot. An can be done on a budget.
