I'm Awesome
ChrisFix has a great video on Youtube about wet sanding headlights.I usually sand with 800-1000g and clear with automotive grade 2k clear which has some uv inhibitors..... no polishing. Clear tinted with some black can make for smoked lens lights.

What I do is use a 8oz spray bottle and do swirling motions with 400g, after one bottle, I refill and do side to side motions with 400g until the bottle is gone again. I do the same thing with 600g then 2000g. After that, I spray 3 layers of clear coat on and leave it. You CAN do wet sanding with 3000g to get rid of the "orange peel" on the clear coat, but I didn't find it necessary and it gets rid of some of the glossiness of the clear coat. So I just leave it.
