I went to install the T-Rex grill insert, and the top section didn't fit in the grill well as nicely as the bottom section. I reached out to T-Rex to see what they say. I'm hoping I just got the wrong part. Otherwise I will have to return it and find something that fits better.

Quick Update - T-Rex customer service rep says "the grille does fit slightly differently from the top versus the bottom". Not what I expected to hear, and I'm not sure why they would make it that way. My girlfriend who isn't in to cars said to me "That doesn't look like it fits at all". I will be returning the grill inserts and looking for another manufacturer. Anyone have any suggestions?

Top and bottom bars look like they need a little bit of bending ( on the upper piece) and the lower piece, the bar just above the bottom bar seems a little tweaked. It shouldn't be that delicate, that merely installing it, bends it up!
I like the look of these, but it seems like an awful hassle and expensive way to get this look!

I bent the bars to try to get it to fit, but the whole assembly is about 1/2" too long on the top section, so it just doesn't fit inside very well. From a distance it looks ok, but as soon as you get close up you can tell it's not the right fit.

It's amazing what new carpet/floor mats, a new seat cover, and a good upholstery cleaning did for this old truck. It even has the new car smell.

I ended up sending back the T-Rex grill, and went with a CW grill which fit much better. It was more time-consuming to install, but was well worth the effort. In case anyone is interested the part number is 40232 (cutting required version), purchased at Summit.

I also just ordered some Anzo headlights and running/parking lights. I'm looking forward to a slightly modernized look in the front end of my truck.

I installed the new Anzo headlights last night. Pretty simple install, and look great compared to my old faded headlights. They need a little adjusting, but were actually pretty close out of the box. Anzo part no. 111505 for anybody interested. Purchased at Amazon.
