Sweet dually. The wheels are...(sound of throwing up and flushing toilet).

Yeah, they've grown on me, but I want some 20" rims so I can go from a 29" tall tire to a 30-31" and keep/reduce the existing sidewall. Gonna hopefully be some knockoff Alcoas since the real thing doesn't exist anymore.

So you didn't see any boost increase? Definitely suspicious of a leak.. probably no real easy way to test for that is there?

The intake manifold looks like it's weeping from EVERY mating surface and I'm running a 5 rib belt vs the 6 rib it came with due to pulley alignment issues. The fix is to mill the blower pulley to sit farther on the compressor and shim the rest to match. Right now everything else is limited by how the blower pulley sits. The belt is offset 1 rib to ride halfway straight.

I figured out why the timing map seemed like it wasn't responding: I was logging the wrong PID. I was logging GM.DYNCYLAIR and I was supposed to be logging GM.DYNCYLAIR_DMA which is the speed density version and the 2 are calculated very differently. WIth the correct PID I'm blowing the lid off of the stock map by quite a bit and my boost timing puller dealy isn't configured correctly so it's not doing anything. Whoops. I'm about to flash a new MAF calibration in and hopefully figure out why I'm getting these wonky correction values for my VE to get it cleaned up so I can go back and add in some timing where it wants it. I think I've pulled a little too much at the moment as the truck is only getting single digit timing advance at WOT. I'm going to re-enable the stock PE timing adder so it only adds the timing when it's dumping the fuel, but it hasn't been adding enough fuel down here hence me going after the VE/MAF stuff.

I had trouble sealing up that intermediate pipe to the Y pipe and both were brand new.... all was well for about a year and then the mating surface was warped so bad I could not get it sealed. we dont have them anymore but it was scheduled for an emmisions test and I needed it sealed.... I took 2 of the donut gaskets that are for the manifold to y-pipe, I grinded off the part of the gasket that slides into the pipe since this part of the pipes are a bit bigger. I slipped them in with longer bolts and closed this connection up. it's been about 6 years now and it's still holding up nicely.

That's a pretty good idea.
