4.10 gears AND LS swap. A cammed 5.3 LS will destroy any TBI small or peanut port big block with a cam and tune as well. I would know, I have them all. Even the LT 5.3 in my 2021 Z71 burb is no joke, it seems as rowdy as my cammed 2009 5.3 burb.

If I down shift to third it will rev to 3800 rpm but it’s not pulling. Then when I shift back to fourth the rpms drop too much. I am talking going up a slight grade pulling 4500 lbs. I am sure I could wind it 4000 rpm but I don’t as there is no benefit to doing that. I just gave the truck a tune up. It is running good.

You also realize a peanut port big block can make some pretty strong power numbers and torque numbers that a 5.3 could only dream of on nitrous or boost.
