On September 11 last year a couple of tornadoes came through the city. My work wasn't too damaged, but we had no electricity, so we all ended up going home early. I used the time to go to get some steel for a spacer for the trans mount. I had a mild vibration due to the slightly different angle.

After I was done test driving the truck, Did some more work on the manifold. I drilled and tapped a hole on the right side boss for the ac compressor to mount. Then I went after it with the soda blaster.

How's it run with the little intake opened up? WOT shifts 4000, 4500?
I think I have it set to shift closer to 3900, more than that isn't really necessary. Peak torque is around 3200 RPM. When I switched from the dual to the single plane I had to rescale the VE table with the injector constant because I was hitting 100% VE at WOT, so it definitely picked up power. It also uses a little less fuel at part throttle. The fuel distribution is much better.

I clear coated the fender badges to protect them from corrosion. They are a little rough but it fits the theme. They are pretty subtle.

With the stock FPR spring, the injector duty cycle was pretty high, so I got an 18 PSI spring. It only took a couple tries to get the tune back to normal with this, that's always nice.
