285-75 on x10 with crank and 1.25 block in back. Said all that's done was removing the valance.

That looks sweet! Those 285s look pretty good on the 10 wides.

Thats understandable. I feel like you'd be fine with the 265 especially since yours is a 2500 so I would think you already sit somewhat higher than a 1500.
You are correct, 3/4 tons do sit higher from the factory vs. a half-ton. My 98 sits at about 39" in the rear w/ 285s vs. my 97 sat at about 37" in the rear w/ 285s.

Did you have any rubbing with 285s on the 98? Also not sure if you would know or not but i think my leafs are starting to wear out a little. One side leans if you look at the tailgate, do you know where i could get new ones?

No rubbing, though I had to remove my nice mud flaps because they were too thick, so I had to get some cheap thin ones to keep the rocks from chipping the paint. When I had it at the factory rake, 265s rubbed when I had 4" bs wheels, I was kinda pissed because I wasn't able to run the rims I wanted, but it was the bs of them that was affecting it, which I didn't realize at the time. Once I was able to have the truck leveled, I was able to run some 4.25" bs wheels (which I have on now, used to be my dad's) and they don't rub, thankfully.

From what I have read online, the Husky leafs on RockAuto are good. I noticed my 97 too is starting to lean on one side so I'm probably going to need new leafs in the future if I plan on driving it another few years.

It aggravates me so bad that it leans! Ill have to look into the leafs soon. Do you think 285s would rub with 4.5 bs? I know nothing about bs lol.
