Rim width

Not sure if this is in the right spot or not. Does anyone have a lt265/75r16 mounted on a 10” wide wheel?
The manufacturer of my tires said that the max for that size is 8” but I’ve saw plenty with 8-10” wide wheels i just cant think why it would only work with 8”.

Looks a little stretched, imo the minimum tire size for a 10" wide rim like that would be a 285/75r16 or a 305/70r16.

It definitely has a touch of stretch but looks pretty good on a stock height truck. Nothing compared to these dingleberrys with 11.50 and 12.50s on a 14 wide wheel.

I think the 285s look great that’s what size I’m gonna go with next unless it’s lifted by then.

This, all the manufacturers are different. Bfg runs a little small while nitto, toyo, and interco usually run true to size or larger. My 35x12.50 mud grapplers actually measure almost 13.5 wide.

Right now i run Americus rugged mt. I really like them and they look great imo.
