ive had north of 1500 pounds of wet sand in the back of my '93 ecsb and it barely squatted. the scales said it was between 1500 and 2000 pounds, i cant find the slips now but it wasn't exactly happy but i was haha.

I just put a 3/4 ton rear and springs in mine so I should be good to go for just about anything! It squatted pretty bad before when the weight piled on.

on my old 73 chevy heavy half ton i had 3.2 ton of stone in the bed... on my new truck(2009) ive hauled 5.5 ton on a car trailer.... i tell the guys with diesels i haul more with my 4.8L half ton than they ever will with thier 2500 **** apart or dirtymax >

Hauled 2200 lbs in my k1500 rclb 5.7 one time. Worked fine, a little slow stopping though.
And then the next day my frame broke...
Now I drive a k2500
