I thought this too, and in some cases it will make a difference. But I had a 4runner with 20' wheels, and 245/60 mall terrains. When I first saw it I thought it was gonna ride like crap. It actually rode pretty nice. Now if you have like 2" of rubber between the road and wheel, then might notice a difference. Wife had E rated tires on her truck for a bit, and only thing noticed with that is after they got low on tread, they made more noise.
