I'm Awesome
I'm personally running dual Flowmaster 40's with shorty headers and hi-flow cats, 2.5" pipe in and 2.5" pipe out.
Headers aren't installed in either of these videos, the second video is on a lake, sound was a bit muffled from the snow, but you can hear I have a manifold leak in it.

40's WILL piss people off at full throttle, but as long as you keep it easy when you're near home, I doubt your neighbours will complain.
My setup has a bit of drone, nothing excessive, and this is the location of my mufflers:
Drone is not bad at all. Keep the mufflers as far back under the box as you can, and drone will be fine.
Exit also effects drone. Dumping it right after the mufflers underneath the truck for instance, will amplify the level of drone.
Mine exits like this:
For all of you saying Magnaflows sound like glasspacks, thats because they ARE a glasspack. http://www.magnaflow.com/wideopen/wideopen.asp
Magnaflows WILL get louder after a couple years. I have a buddy with almost the same setup as me on a 2009 5.3L (I know, totally different sound) except with dual magnaflows and an X-pipe.
Its one of the best sounding trucks I have EVER heard, hands down. But its gotten MUCH louder from the time the exhaust was installed to now.
