So you mean i can put any steering wheel i want on my 90 as there was no airbag ?
Almost any. Any stock steering wheel from GM 69-95 (except the telescopic and prolly a few others).

Almost all aftermarket steering columns use the same application. There are a few that use the original Ferd or Early Corvette pattern.

GMT 400 3500's don't have driver or passenger airbags through 98. Not sure if the 99/00 got em.
My 1999 2500 doesn't have one. It was based on GVWR up to a certain year (and then I believe it was required for all). Equal to or less than 8500 lbs. GVWR got airbags. Greater than 8500 lbs. GVWR were not required, and so GM did not install them at the factory.

I'm not really motivated to do more research into it. I do know one of the factors was GVWR though.
