But they are rated for bigger loads.

They definitely clean up nicely. Also, these particular wheels are the same for a 1500.
You ever looking for a set of center caps? If so, I’ll keep an eye out for you.

@HotWheelsBurban this is a picture of what I thought I was posting. This has 8 lugs, I’ve never seen that style in 6 lug.

Here is a 2500 Light Duty 6 lug with the same wheels on my K1500.

I think I figured it out, here’s a C2500 6 Lug with that style wheel.

That looks like Rawhide Jr.....
Here's the wheels he has:
Closeup picture is after I sorta polished the trim ring and center cap. Wheels have a little surface rust and will eventually get cleaned and repainted. I want to put a set of PY0s on this truck in the long term; steelies with 10 ply truck tires are heavy!

I like steel wheels. I know they are heavier, but how much actually mpg would you save with aluminum. Aluminum up in north are also more prone to leaking in cold.

Yes....but my truck won't ever go further north than Oklahoma so that's not a problem. My main concern is not throwing my back out, changing a wheel and tire. Slightly less unsprung weight is good too, as is the quicker heat transfer that aluminum wheels have for the brakes....

Steel wheels are great. I wish I had a set of period correct aluminum wheels, however. They are impossible to find these days for an 8 lug. Sometimes I wish I had another 5 lug or 6 lug truck.
