I pulled mine home, finally got it to crank up and then pressure washed it completely so I can start tearing it apart.

yeah but i would prob be doing that same thing man! i put a starter in the 92 my god what a pain! carquest had the wrong part number on file it ended up being a starter for a 85 K1500 with the 350 and manual trans....weird. i wanted the new style starter but w/e

I did that a while back, Napa gave us two starters, one was for a manual, one for an automatic, so we had to figure that one out.

yeah i didnt understand that at all...the auto trans starter was a closed cone at the end and the manual had the right style open end, the auto trans starter fit everything but the blot holes didnt line up...what a headache!
