What Ball Joint/Lower Control Arm do I have?

K1500 Suburban with the 6.5 d are basicly a 2500 with a highter axel ratio, which affect the capacity,it’s that simple and it make a wonderfull light hauler, I know because I’m holding on to mine for the last 19 years ! Constant 21 mpg for a 6700 pds vehicle !

The difference is 3.42 ratio for the K1500 and 3.73 or 4.11 for the K2500 !

You get the forged LCA unit on 1/2 ton that are powered by the 6.5 diesel engine

Not all of the 6.5 had forged arms some came with bolt in ball joints/Stamped arms

Well, in the end, my arm is considered "stamped" how do I know? My ego said you have a 50/50 chance of having stamped :-( arms....or forged ... Lets order forged! .....They arrived. They don't fit. :-( Ordered Stamped tonight. :-( Oh the emotional roller coaster Im on.
