Bought a Borgeson lower shaft for my 97 (they them for the 95-00 now). Well, the upper bolt (underneath the master cylinder) is seized good. And I think someone else has tried to get it off at one time, it seems partially rounded off.

Can the entire assembly be pulled through the firewall?

I had the though of buying their upper shaft as well (to eliminate that tulip joint or whatever underneath the dash), if I do that I don't mind just hacking the stock shaft into pieces.

Hey- is that the one where the bolt doesn’t turn and you’re supposed to remove the nut? I feel like I started to round off mine and then realized that.
