Upper brake / cargo light assembly

Having a hard time finding an original upper brake light assembly for my 97 GMC 1500 4X4. Will I have to go back with an LED one. And if so what brand would yall recommend?

No I haven't. Don't think I have ever heard of them. Do they have the original ones?

If your circuit board is good then look at this. I’ve also grabbed a spare circuit board at boneyard, cleaned and tested for a spare.

This is only for Regular Cab and Crew Cab. LMC only had LED light fixture.

I don’t have it, but personally don’t care for LED if that matters. Whatever you like.

I got the stock one (non-LED).

Just remember, this won’t fit an extra cab. You haven’t mentioned what you have.

^ X2. There are two different third brake light lenses. One for standard/crew cabs, and one for extended cabs. They don't interchange.

Factory parts for both are discontinued so if you want the OEM look the RZLightz standard/crew cab lens is pretty much the only option.
