My vice isn't big enough to press the friggin joint out.

Any suggestions? BFH?

Just use a hammer and cold chisel on the inner section of the joint, should come out with a few decent wacks. Of course the it has to be raised off the ground some so the u-joint will drop down.

Cool cool, how would I go about pressing the new one back in?

They arent a press tight fit just start the cap and couple hits with a hammer to enough to get the clips on.

Push cap in from the outside?

Yup then put in the u-joint and tap the caps in, just make sure the joint and caps are lined up right or else it can knock the little pins out.

A 6 inch c clamp does wonders!

If you do any hammering, just be careful of the aluminum ears. They are easy to break off.
