Turn Signals Lights Don't Work

When I push up or down on the signal switch the light in the dash (and the tail lights) don't blink, they just stay on. I have to signal manually and they work. Any ideas? There weren't and bulbs in the parking lights, I put some in and it worked for like a day, now back to normal. 90 Sierra.

Sounds like your flasher bit the dust. Should be able to pick one up for less than $10.

This is about leds but I assume it would do the same thing with normal bulbs

Yep they're in correctly. Must be a flasher.

Would a flasher issue make them turn rapidly as well, or just not at all?

Try your hazards, if they work, check to ensure that all 6 bulbs work correctly, both with and without parking lamps on, as well as checking fuses and relays

And if I remember correctly, 90 model has separate relay flasher assembly, where the 95+ are combined, but I may be wrong, as I haven't had a TBI truck in several years
