I have a 454 with a Whipple and I run NGK TR6 plugs and otherwise stock ignition components with no misfire issues. I would go back to stock ignition first and see if the condition persists. By stock I mean OE/Delphi/AC Delco, not stock replacement garbage from O'Reilly's. What are you doing for engine management?

Stock black box that was tuned by a shop out west prior to me getting the truck

Mine runs 10 degrees or less under boost, so you should be good there. If your gaps are no bigger than .045" then the first thing I'd try is stock ignition components. MSD has a track record for creating more problems than they solve, and in this case the stock stuff is up to the task.

Is this a REAL "6AL", or is it a DIGITAL 6AL, or a 6AL-2? What is the model number?

Will your ignition system RELIABLY fire a spark tester calibrated for HEI, when the top of the ignition coil is wet?

Verify fuel pressure under load. How old is the fuel filter?

Test/inspect/replace plug wires, cap 'n' rotor.

Verify ALL of the sensors, and computer outputs.

Seems to me that there's a lot of electrode wear on those plugs for only 9K miles/
