Anyone know what trans this is? The GM numbers are on the passenger side of the trans in the back toward the transfer case. Truck used to be automatic, guy I bought it from swapped it to 5spd and obviously has some leaks.

Not that I have seen. I think it's a new Ventura 3500 but I'm not 100% sure but the description seems to match the nv3500 . Just trying to find out what fluid I should use in it. If it is the nv3500 I'm pretty sure it calls for synchromesh just don't want to put the wrong stuff in.

It's absolutely not the NV4500 so you don't have to worry about using the GM Synthetic Manual Transmission Fluid (part # 12346190) (Castrol Syntorq LT) specified for those transmissions.

Whether it's the Getrag or the NV3500, you use Syncromesh fluid.
