Tranny needed rebuilding

Tranny needed rebuilding I would have tried to rebuild it myself but reallly have no experience with transmissions. Looked at you tube and read a lot but it seemed a little too complicated and detailed for my skill set and accommodation. Hate to have to pay for rebuild. But what am I looking at. I figure around 1000-1500 for rebuilt?

Yes. About that much if it's a 4l60e on a 2wd. I went to mechanic school a while back. With a transmission rebuild, parts really only go in one way. You really can't screw it up.
