Synthetic Oil

my truck is already running synthetic. but i just want to know what the best brand to use is. truck has 156k on it.

I run Mobile 1 5W-30 in mine.

As long as its clean and you change it often, it doesn't matter who makes it. You can run Rotella T6 for around $25 per oil change or AMSOIL for around $75 per oil change. Mostly just personal preference and brand loyalty.

Oil is oil.

Clean is all that matters.

I use either Mobil1 or Castrol Syntec. Which ever is cheaper and the time. Never had any issues with either brand

I use Mobil1 as well, really shouldn't matter but I like to at least stick with a good name brand and I never let any type of shop or gas station to change it because they usually use some dirt cheap oil that I personally don't want running in my truck

You'll get so many opinions on what brand of oil to run...

I personally recommend buying from a local store. Then, whatever happens to be on sale. If there's two the same price, I buy whatever colour bottle I like best.
