I own a 1995 Chevrolet C1500 extended cab. I have a set of 17x8 wheels and 265/70r17 tires. Will they fit without a lift or fender mods?

Depends on the backspacing and offset of your wheels. If they are same as stock or close to it they will fit.

The wheels I am putting on have a 4.5" backspacing and 14mm offset.

You'll be fine. I'm running 265/75/16, which is probably damn near the same height, and there is a ton of room.

Is yours a Z71 though?

The fact that it's a Z71 doesn't matter (just stickers and skidplates haha). The fact that his is a 4wd is more relevant. The 4wd gmt400's are notorious for sitting a tad higher in the front than the 2wd, but you should still be fine considering the new tires should only be around a 31.5" tire
