My '99 2dr has this switch. But it doesn't seem to work. Pulled it out of the pillar, has & switches power when pushed. But still nothing. Is there a trick 2 make it work!?

I have that problem with some of the doors on my Burb. I've gotten in the habit of checking them before I leave the truck unattended. It's probably that the actuators are old and probably need lubrication. Not taking the doors apart in February....Same here-99 tahoe z71 barn doors-I have the switch. It works. Unlike the remote lock which sometimes does and often doesn't work-it unlocks ok but locking is another matter-so I have to lock it manually.

No unless your contact switch is messed up or missing a prongMy rear lock switch will lock all doors except the barn doors. Is this by design?
I cleaned contacts with very fine-800 or more-sandpaper and they worked best. But niw we back to square one. And funny enough they worked better in overcast or wet days than dry ones.My rear lock switch will lock all doors except the barn doors. Is this by design?
