Either way, probably not worth $10k... 3 years ago... but right now... that truck will be sold in a couple weeks at most.

The 5.0 vs 5.7 is moot when it comes to the vortec engines. IIRC, the 5.0 vortec made more power than the 5.7 TBI.

Back in the day a friend tried to convince me his 4.3 was better than a 350 because the V6s were faster - and, stock, they were, but the 4.3 couldn't tow, and look which ones are more desirable now. You'll never convince me a 305 vs 350 is a moot choice.

I prefer the 350; no replacement for displacement #1 and most trucks with the 305 werent optioned very well.
