Stillen intake

I'm buying a 1994 gmc Yukon from my dad and when I popped the hood I seen it has a cold air intake. On the intake it says stillen but I thought they only made stuff for Nissan's? Does anyone have any info on this?

That's a new one for me. Their website doesn't mention anything about it so if they did make a kit for these trucks it's out of production now.

You'd be better off with a factory intake or a Volant, though. Those open filter designs suck a ton of hot air from the engine compartment and actually raise IATs pretty significantly.

Yeah I've learned that over the years. This one just puzzled me. It has stillen raised up on it and I thought that was really weird.

Stillen made parts for more than Nissan. I have an underdrive crank pulley on my G35s 3.5HR made by them. That intake does not look to be a great design. Definately not like the Nissan HR intakes that move the filters in front of the condenser.

That's interesting. I've only known of the nissan parts. It makes me wonder if it's a rare part to be honest. I agree that it doesn't look like a great design though
