Steering wheel spline. Airbag to classic style

Older wheel instead of airbag wheel. Very close to the blinkers, but once you get used to it, you avoid the stalk when turning.

There is a small lip on the plastic column that I had to cut, otherwise the wheel would not slide all the way down. Hardly notice it was cut once the wheel was in place.

I'd like a decently dished wheel but another thing I got to look into is if it's gonna pass inspection

Is your truck a 1/2 or 3/4 ton?
For a one time fee of $35.00 I re-registered my last 3/4 as a one ton.
One tons are considered commercial vehicles here, which made it 'air-care' & inspection free!
That is actually kinda stupid, considering that commercial vehicles with the extra miles & the idle time that they put on over & above a non-commercial should be the ones to have to pass a sniffer & be in mechanically good condition!
But I ain't arguing with them over that! That $35.00 probably save me $200.00 a year!
